Clevedon Music Club

The Spring concerts begin on Tuesday 21st January in the Teignmouth Room at the Community Centre, Princes Road, BS21 7SZ, from 7.30pm. This first concert will be a recital of music by Saint-Saens, Poulenc, Schumann and others performed by London-based local oboist Lavinia Redman. Lavinia is a former woodwind category finalist in BBC Young Musician of the Year, former member of the National Youth Orchestra, Barbirolli International Oboe Competition finalist in 2017, and Royal Academy of Music graduate. The evening promises to be a great show of musical talent.

The monthly series continues on Tuesdays with concerts by Diploma level students of university singing teacher, Angela Hickey, in February. A piano recital including music by Bach and Beethoven given by Bela Hartmann will take place in March, and in April there will be a performance by The Celli Peppers following the AGM.

A subscription of £32 gives free admission to all four concerts, otherwise admission to any individual concert costs £10 at the door. For more information get in contact or look out for posters.
